What kind of custom AI do we build?

We build AI for jobs that are specific to your business: the work that depends on your data, your process and your systems. In plain terms, most projects fall into four groups.

Every project starts from the same place: one job, clearly defined, that costs your team real time every week. We'd rather build one system that earns its place than five that look impressive in a demo.

Should you build custom AI or buy an existing product?

Honest answer: buy first, if something already does the job. It's cheaper, faster and someone else maintains it. That's why we built Spark, an AI employee that runs a small business's front office, and AI Legal Toolbox for law firms. If one of those fits, we'll tell you, even though a custom project would earn us more.

Build custom when:

• The job depends on your own data or documents in a way general tools can't handle.
• It has to work inside the systems you already run, not in yet another app.
• The process is specific to how you operate, and changing it to suit software would cost more than building to suit you.
• The work is central to your business, so owning it is worth it.

How does a custom AI project work with Elysia Partners?

1. Choose the job. We find one repeated task worth removing and write down exactly what "done" looks like.
2. Check the systems. We confirm your software can connect, and what data the AI can and can't see.
3. Build with approval points. We decide together which steps the AI can do alone and which wait for a person.
4. Run it for real. The system goes into your actual business, and we improve it based on results, not demos.
5. Expand if it earns it. Once the first job proves itself, we look at the next one.

How is custom AI priced? Per project, after we map the workflow with you. Mapping first means the price reflects the actual job, not a guess, and you know it before any build starts.

What does private AI mean for your data?

A lot of businesses hesitate on AI because they don't know where their data goes. That's a fair concern. When we design a system, we answer three questions with you before anything is built:

• Who can see the data? Access is limited to the people and systems that need it.
• Where is it processed? We tell you plainly, so you can check it against your obligations.
• Is it used for training? Your data should never be used to train someone else's general AI model.

If your business is covered by the Australian Privacy Principles, or you work in a regulated industry, we design around those rules from day one. Private deployment options are available, and we talk them through with you on the scoping call, so the setup matches how sensitive your data is.

Which systems can custom AI connect to?

Most modern business software can be connected if it offers an API or another supported integration. Common starting points include CRMs, ERPs, Microsoft 365 and Outlook, Google Workspace, practice management systems, accounting software, job management tools and phone systems. Older systems can sometimes be reached through exports, shared folders or databases. We'll check yours in the first conversation, and we won't quote on something we can't connect.

Who will build your AI system?

You'll work directly with the people who build Spark and AI Legal Toolbox, not a sales team. We're a Gold Coast & Brisbane team, we meet clients in person on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane, and we work with businesses across the rest of Australia.
